TexLoc specifically engineered its FEP fluoropolymer roll cover to extend roller life and eliminate roller build up and picking. TexLoc roll covers reduce down time in a wide spectrum of industries, including textile, packaging, printing, paper, food and imaging.
TexLoc produces FEP roll covers with an .020"/.508mm wall thickness for rollers from 1/2" to 12" in diameter and lengths up to 10 feet. In smaller sizes, longer lengths are available as a custom manufactured roll cover.
TexLoc's unique process produces a cover with no surface imperfections and with significantly greater flex life, which is especially important on rubber rollers. Most materials do not adhere to FEP roll covers but even those that might "cling" to the surface can be easily wiped off with a damp cloth. Release of adhesives, as well as paint, food products, inks and plastic laminations, are self-removing in most cases (after drying).

Etched roll covers for special adhesive systems are available. In applications where high temperature and/or pressure is encountered, TexLoc suggest using an etched roll cover for bonding directly onto the roller. And when applications call for temperatures over 400ºF/204ºC, PFA Roll Covers are produced to your specifications.
TexLoc roll covers are easy to apply. You will need a commercial heat gun(s) capable of 500°F/260°C to 750°F/398°C , delivering as large a volume of air as possible. A method of rotating the roller is also needed. (Visit
our step by step guide in the TexLoc Library.) In most applications, hand rotation of the roller on it's axis is all that is required. A machine lathe is preferred. Detailed shrinking instructions are available. Just Ask Us | Key Benefits:
